Russian stocks seen flat amid neutral foreign background

MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks are not expected to change much at the opening on Thursday amid a neutral foreign background, analysts said.

“We expect a neutral opening of the MOEX Russia Index with a moderate change within 0.1–0.3%, near the level of 2,530–2,535 points. The nearest support will be at levels of 2,530 and 2,510 points. The main resistance will remain at 2,540 and 2,550 points,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.

Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures are balancing on the verge of positive and negative deviations, Brent oil futures lost less than 0,1%, Japan’s Nikkei225 remained flat, and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng decreased 0.4%.
